Here’s a trio of conferences coming up:
- Passive again – Hot on the heels of the BRE trip to see them in the flesh, so to speak, is the 11th annual Passive House Conference in southern Germany next month.
- The US Greenbuild conference in the Windy City (that’s Chicago) in November.
- Nearer to home is the Renewable Energy Association’s conference on zero carbon building on 14 and 15 May in Manchester.
- I’m off to Cannes next week for annual property fair MIPIM. There will be very serious discussion about sustainability, according to the organisers in a statement they pinged over to me today. There’s sessions within the conference on design, economics and how property can make a difference. I will be popping along to these, diligently avoiding any nearby flutes.
