I don’t usually go in for New Year’s resolutions but found myself listing around five of them about an hour ago. Am I getting old? One resolution was to open up a direct debit with Shelter, having passed around three homeless individuals on the way to the supermarket (breaking my resolution to cut out plastic bag usage on the way back – oops). The Shelter website also points you to a fun site called Build a city. You buy a virtual plot of land and then pop a house/trees/block of flats on it and flash up a message on it, for a donation. Neat idea.
