I’ve finally made it to Wordpress, after some stress and effort (mostly on the part of my able assistants, technical wizard Greg Morris and design guru Jo Longley – a virtual toast to the pair of you). I’m still getting used to my new orange status – the colour decision was for no other reason than I’m getting bored of green and fancied a change. Orange is the new green. The other main change to note as part of the facelift is the appearance of advertising. Two things to note on that: I work for a (hopefully) profit making outfit so it was bound to happen eventually; you will not be reading future posts that are ‘in association with’ or ‘brought to you by’ – unless anyone wants to offer me some stupid money for them (only joking).
I’m now looking forward to an almost infinite choice of widgets that I can add down the right hand side, which I will start playing around with over the coming weeks. And a smug note to add – thanks to some SEO trickery from the aforementioned Mr Morris I now find myself second in the google ranking for ‘sustainability blog‘ – hurrah!
Hopefully the migration has been relatively smooth from your end in terms of finding my new home, feeds etc. Keen for thoughts and feedback – as long as they’re good of course.

Congrats on the new site design, I really like it. So clean. And thanks for including Jetson Green in the blogroll (side note: we’ve updated our url to the easier http://www.jetsongreen.com). Rock n’ Roll, Phil~

I like it! You’re showing up in RSS in Google Reader no problem, and I clicked through to see the facelift.
I won’t know till I submit this what your spam deterrent is (I hated the old typepad captcha).
Enjoy the widgets and plug-ins. I’ve posted before which I tend to use if you need inspiration, and I know Martin has too…
BTW, how’s the Glasvegas album? Should I add it to my iTunes want list?

I like the new look blog, Phil, and think the colour change is refreshing (my own ExtranetEvolution having recently changed from blue to yellow!).
I won’t be changing SaaStainability (thanks for the link, BTW) any time soon – it’s only been around a couple of months so hasn’t really had time to get ‘tired’ yet.
Keep blogging – Paul

Looks like it’s working now! Nice new look. Enjoy playing with WP widgets – there’s some good stuff out there. And hurray for getting rid of the annoying typepad catcha thingy…

Oops. Mel thanks for pointing that out!
I need to turn Captcha on. Must fight the spam warlords!

Phil – this looks good – all the best for the future with this, and keep blogging!!
I agree with Mel, good to see the back of the catcha ….

Another quick response. I’ve now opened up comments without moderation.
To answer your question on Glasvegas Mel. I rather hastily put that link up intending to buy it. I didn’t. I’ve read a few more iffy reviews of it so ended up avoiding it. Would heartily recommend Laura Marling though.
