The curious case of the blogging minister

Just listened to the Today In Parliament podcast with an interesting item on a blogging former minister Tom Harris. The Glasgow South MP was sacked as railways minister in the recent reshuffle and the piece mused on whether Harris’ entertaining and candid online diary had anything to do with it. In an interview with the MP Harris said he was given no reason for his departure, but if it was due to his blogging it “very sad day for politics”. Hear hear.
